Rating methodology
Siftmatch is a decision engine, not a blog. Every page rests on at least one datum an AI cannot invent: a dated scraped price, a verified feature matrix, a lived-in verdict.
Pricing data
Prices are scraped automatically from each tool’s official pages (weekly) and timestamped. Every page shows “Pricing verified on …”: the real last-check date, not an invented one.
Features
The feature matrix is built from the vendors’ real site content, not vague memory. An uncertain value is flagged to verify rather than guessed.
Editorial
Verdicts, pros/cons and rankings are written from the real data in context, then reviewed and validated by hand before publication. No page goes live without that review.
Score out of 5
The score reflects value for money, feature depth, deliverability and — for the French market — GDPR compliance and EU servers. It is editorial and owned.
Freshness
The displayed update date is driven by a real change in data (pricing) or editorial, never by a mere redeploy.
Independence
Some links are affiliate (rel="sponsored"). Compensation never changes scores or rankings, which are based on verifiable data.
